Oxford, IN – Fresh off their first sectional championship in 24 years, the Benton Central Bison boys’ basketball team will look to continue their postseason run this Saturday when they face the Oak Hill Golden Eagles in the IHSAA Frankfort Regional. The game is scheduled for 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 14 at Everett Case Arena at Frankfort High School. Benton Central enters the regional with tremendous momentum after capturing the Delphi Sectional #37 Championship, defeating Western Boone 64–56 in the title game. The victory marked the program’s first sectional crown since 2002 and has energized the Bison community as the team advances deeper into tournament play. Standing in their path is a formidable opponent in Oak Hill (24–1), the champions of the Manchester Sectional. The Golden Eagles have put together an impressive season and will bring both experience and firepower into the regional matchup. For Benton Central, the opportunity represents another chapter in what has already been a historic postseason.
