Thorntown, IN -- April 26, 2025 On Saturday, April 26th, the Benton Central Lady Bison Tennis team traveled to Western Boone High School to compete in a three-match tournament. In the opening match of the day, the Lady Bison looked to avenge a recent 4-1 loss to Central Catholic High School. Despite a determined effort, Benton Central fell short against the Lady Knights, dropping the match 5-0. The Lady Bison regrouped quickly and faced the host, Western Boone, in Match #2. In a tight contest, Benton Central battled their way to a hard-fought 3-2 victory. In the final match of the day, the Lady Bison took on Speedway High School. The team finished strong, sweeping the Sparkplugs with an impressive 5-0 win. Overall, it was a very positive day of tennis for our young and improving Lady Bison squad, showcasing growth, resilience, and teamwork throughout the tournament. Next up: Benton Central Girls Tennis will travel to North Montgomery High School for a 5:00 PM match on Monday, April 28th. Come out and support the team!
